I enjoyed my mini-vacation to Crisfield Maryland. It is a small quaint fishermen's town that seems to be set back in the 1960's. Very slow pace. Very few businesses. Many run down buildings left to sit. There were some good restuarants serving Maryland Blue Crab and we ventured into one called Maho's. I had their crabcake and it was very delicious.
We caught some of our own crabs and for the first time, I steamed them myself. That was an adventure. The kids enjoyed crabbing and fishing and I enjoyed the beautiful breathtaking views from our condo. Looking over the Chesapeake Bay in the early evening and reading my books was peaceful. I wished that I had more time, but doesn't everybody?
