I love newborns. I find myself thinking about taking their pictures.. a lot. When I hear a baby cry in a restaurant or a store, my kids say "Mom, you can't take their pictures. Just eat your food." Ha! I love my kids. They sneak into my office in the evening and are always curious how the baby editing is going. They like to look around the corner into the studio during newborn sessions to peek at the pure natural preciousness of the babies. I'm so blessed to have this opportunity to do something that I love. I thought about God has prepared me for this journey. Originally a nurse, I have that background of carefully handling newborns and taking cues from new mommies. I'm always making sure they are well hydrated and comfortable. I love hearing their birth story (who doesn't love telling their story!). Then to be in children's ministry--connecting with parents and loving kids. I love how it all fits together. My passion for seeing kids learn about Jesus and my passion for capturing their cute little faces behind the camera! Yeah I think God orchestrated all of this. Thanks God for giving the opportunity to use my gifts in an awesome way! I can't wait to see what will happen next!
