What a gorgeous day! I have been waiting for a 70+ degree day for so long. Why is it that winter drags on? Cold, brown, blah!
Today: Warm, buds on trees, snippits of green grass, and laughing kids.
Today I told my kids that I want them out. Now that may seem harsh but what I meant was that I want them to breathe it in. Get out and play. Jump on the trampoline, dig in the dirt, ride their bike, throw softballs back and forth.
I am shredding winter and blah bleck yuck feelings. In 3 days, Jason and I head out on vacation. Our first 7 day vacation since our honeymoon. Seriously! 15 years ago. How did that happen? I am excited to gather:

- my Nikon D7000 and 50mm 1.4 lens because it's my handy lightweight sidekick
- my clothes, hopefully some short sleeves
- my iphone because I would die without some communication
- and my man because I love him
